Welcome to Ask about autism

Welcome to “Ask About Autism,” . This is a new venture for me and I want to help  parents/schools on the intricate journey of parenting or working with autistic children in the home or educational establishments.

I have worked with children/young adults who have been  diagnosed with  ASC or a language and communication difficulty for the past three decades. During this time I have worked in a special school,mainstream schools, lectured to parents and school professionals on strategies ,been a respite carer and run a parent support group for parents of children  on the spectrum.

 I understand the unique joys and challenges that come with raising neurodivergent individuals, and I’m here to provide a supportive community for parents seeking guidance. With a commitment to fostering understanding and acceptance, my  platform offers a wealth of valuable insights, resources, and practical advice. 

I believe in the power of shared experiences, resilience, and the celebration of the incredible diversity within our families.
